Burglary in Priyadarshini Nagar: Valuables Worth ₹1.89 Lakh Stolen

Nagpur: Unidentified burglars broke into a locked house in Priyadarshini Nagar, Rana Pratap Nagar and decamped with cash and gold jewellery worth ₹1.89 lakh while the homeowners were away in Mumbai.
Between October 5 (7 pm) and October 15 (8 am), the accused broke the lock and latch of the main door of Plot No. 168, belonging to Hemant Rambhau Amine (64), and gained entry. The burglars stole ₹5,000 cash and gold ornaments kept in a bedroom cupboard.
A complaint was filed by Manoj Rambhau Amine (61), a resident of Paras Residency, Beltarodi. Based on his statement, Rana Pratap Nagar Police registered an offence under Sections 305, 331(3), and 331(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
