Nagpur: The Maharashtra State Government has officially released the schedule for Class 11 Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Round 1 for the academic year 2025-26. Students can begin applying online from May 21 at 11 am through the official website mahahsscboard.in.
According to the notice, over 9,000 junior colleges across the state will admit approximately 10 lakh students this year. The process will be held from May 21 to May 28, with provisional merit lists to be displayed on May 30. Students can request corrections or raise grievances between May 30 and June 1, and the final merit list will be released on June 3.
Key Dates for Class 11 Admission 2025:
- Practice Registration: May 19–20 (data deleted after 6 PM)
- Registration Window: May 21–28 (till 6 PM)
- Provisional Merit List: May 30 (11 AM)
- Grievance/Correction Window: May 30 – June 1 (till 4 PM)
- Final Merit List (Round 1): June 3 (at 4 PM)
- Merit-Based Seat Allocation: June 5

From this academic year, four rounds of CAP-based admissions will be conducted. After these rounds, remaining seats will be opened to the general category to fill vacancies.

The admission portal is open to all streams (Science, Commerce, Arts) and supports both SSC and non-SSC board students. Additionally, a unique login ID will be generated for each student after registration, which will be used throughout the CAP process.
Polytechnic & Diploma Technical Courses:
To streamline post-SSC technical education, the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has increased admission rounds to five and announced 325 facilitation centres across Maharashtra. Students can begin the process of diploma technical education, which offers career opportunities in engineering, IT, and industry sectors.
