Nagpur: In a tragic incident, a 44-year-old air conditioner technician died after accidentally falling from the third floor of a building while on duty.

The deceased, identified as Mohammad Nihaj Abdul Gani, a resident of Lashkaribagh near Masjid, Pachpaoli, had gone to repair an AC unit at Satva Building, Ramdaspeth in the Sitabuldi area on May 26 around 2:00 pm.

While working on the third floor along with his colleague Firoz Khan Fahim Khan, he lost balance and fell, sustaining serious injuries. He was immediately rushed to Care Hospital and later shifted to Mayo Hospital, where doctors declared him dead at 6:15 pm during treatment.

Based on medical reports, Sitabuldi Police have registered a case of accidental death, and further inquiries are underway.
