Worker Dies After Falling from Fourth Floor of Ved Infrastructure’s Under-Construction Building in Ajni

Nagpur: A 30-year-old unidentified man died after falling from the fourth floor of an under-construction building in the Ajni police station limits on Friday afternoon.


The incident occurred around 2 pm on February 13 at Ved Infrastructure Building, Plot No. 403, Empress Mill Society, Srinagar, Ajni. According to police, the deceased had approached a contractor at the site seeking work. The contractor reportedly assigned him cleaning duties on the fourth floor of the building.


While carrying out the cleaning work, the man allegedly lost his balance and fell from the fourth floor to the ground, sustaining critical injuries. He was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, where doctors examined him and declared him dead.


Based on information provided by complainant Aniket Bandev Rathod (35), a resident near Dayanand Park, Jaripatka, Ajni Police registered an accidental death report. Assistant Police Sub-Inspector Pushpanjali Jambhale is conducting further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
