Nagpur: The sessions court is set to announce its decision on September 23 regarding the state government's petition seeking permission to arrest Ritika alias Ritu Dinesh Malu (39), who is accused of driving a Mercedes while intoxicated and fatally striking two youths at Ramjhula. 

The hearing on the petition took place on Thursday in the court of Judge RS Patil (Bhosale). Initially, the Tehsil police had registered a non-cognisable offence against Malu on February 25, 2024. On the same day, she was granted bail by the first-class judicial magistrate. 

The fatal incident has drawn significant public attention, with the court's impending decision on her potential arrest being highly anticipated.
