Nagpur: Unidentified burglars broke into a house in Green Field Society, Hingna Road, and decamped with gold and silver ornaments worth around ₹2.2 lakh.

The incident occurred between September 5 and September 8, when complainant Mandakumar Rajendrasingh (33) had locked his house and gone out of town with his family. During this period, burglars forced open the main door and ransacked the bedroom cupboard to steal the valuables.

Based on the complaint, MIDC police have registered a case under Section 305(A) of the BNS against unknown persons. The matter is under investigation.
