Nagpur: A 34-year-old man was found unconscious near the Wanadongri crematorium under MIDC Police limits and later declared dead at AIIMS Hospital here, on Friday, May 2. Authorities suspect heatstroke may have contributed to the sudden death.

The deceased, identified as Nitesh Narendra Bhole, a resident of Ward No. 7, Sangam Khairi, Hingna, was discovered early Friday morning in an unconscious state. His family rushed him to AIIMS Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.

Given the rising temperatures in the region, police have not ruled out heatstroke as a possible cause of death. However, an official post-mortem report is awaited.

An accidental death report has been registered at MIDC Police Station based on a complaint by his brother, Umesh Narendra Bhole.
