Nagpur: The No. 2 (Mah) Air Squadron NCC, Nagpur has officially announced the commencement of enrolment for the Air Wing NCC training programme for the academic year 2025-26. Eligible students from colleges affiliated with Nagpur University and located within Nagpur Municipal Corporation limits are invited to apply.
The three-year NCC training programme is open to:
- 1st year students of BA, BCom, BSc, BBA, BCA
- 2nd year students of BE/B Tech
- 2nd or 3rd year students of any five-year integrated course
Training Opportunities
Enrolled cadets will undergo rigorous training in:
- Microlight flying
- Aeromodelling
- Skeet shooting
- .22” caliber rifle firing
- Drill and discipline
- Drone operations
- Disaster management
- Community service and personality development
Cadets will also be eligible to attend various National Level Camps, Trekking, Mountaineering, and Parasailing activities. Successful completion of the programme will earn cadets the prestigious NCC ‘B’ and ‘C’ certificates.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must:
- Be physically and medically fit
- Meet minimum height and weight requirements:
- Male: 157 cm height, 49 kg weight
- Female: 152 cm height, 46 kg weight
- Be able to:
- Run 1.6 km in 7 minutes (Male) or 8 minutes (Female)
- Perform a minimum of 20 push-ups (Male) or 15 (Female)
- Perform 20 sit-ups (Male) or 15 (Female)
- Have scored at least 60% in their Class 12th examination
Selection Process:
Candidates must first pass the written test to qualify for the physical examination. Only those who clear both stages will be called for a final interview.
