Nagpur: Unidentified burglars made away with gold and silver ornaments worth over ₹10.6 lakh from a house in the Army Cantonment area of Kamptee between April and October this year.
Complainant Bhavana Kapilkumar Tyagi (34), resident of GRC Army Cantonment Area, Kamptee, told police that she had kept her gold and silver ornaments safely inside a wooden bed. On October 18, around 4 pm, she checked the spot and found the valuables missing.
According to police, gold jewellery weighing 205 grams along with silver ornaments — together valued at approximately ₹10,60,000 — were stolen during the period between April 2 and October 18, 2025.
Based on her complaint, PSI Pandey of Juni Kamptee Police Station registered a case under Section 380 of the BNS against unidentified accused. Further investigation is in progress.
