₹47 Lakh Worth Jewellery and Cash Stolen from Ganeshpeth House in Nagpur

Nagpur: An unidentified thief stole valuables worth ₹47.1 lakh from a residence in Bajeria area under Ganeshpeth Police Station between May 23 and June 1.
The complaint was lodged by Sunny Satishkumar Gupta (39), who resides at Plot No. 4/A, Shri Laxmi Nivas, Marwadi Chawl. His mother had secured various gold, diamond, and platinum ornaments along with ₹1 lakh cash in a bedroom locker, collectively worth ₹47.10 lakh. On June 1 around 5 PM, they discovered the valuables were missing.
Based on Gupta’s complaint, Ganeshpeth police have registered a case under Section 305 of the BNS against an unknown accused. The investigation is underway to trace the suspect and recover the stolen items.
