Nagpur: A robbery involving a significant cash amount of Rs 25,12,283 was reported at the Mercedes office located in Plot No. C/40, Garnet Motors (India) Pvt. Ltd., MIDC, Wadi Link Road, Nagpur.

According to the complaint filed by the office manager, Madhup Pravin Ane (39), a resident of Manish Nagar, Nagpur, the cash was stored in two lockers in the cashier’s department before the office was closed on January 10 at 7:00 PM. However, by January 11 at 8:30 AM, unknown miscreants broke into the office and stole the cash by breaking the lockers.

MIDC Police have registered a case under Sections 305(A), 331(3), and 331(4) of the BNS. Further inquiries are underway.
