Nagpur: A theft was reported under Old Kamptee Police Station on August 26, 2025. The complainant, Bhagyashil Dilip Dongre (43), resident of Kumbhare Colony, Kamptee, had withdrawn ₹2 lakh from SBI for his house construction work. He kept the cash in his scooter (MH 40 E 1048) dicky before going for refreshments at a nearby hotel.

Upon return, he found the cash missing. An unidentified thief had broken open the vehicle’s dicky and stolen the money. A case has been registered and further investigation is in progress.
