Nagpur: The prestigious CP Club in Nagpur has once again landed in controversy after a physical altercation involving a non-member on Sunday, February 26. The incident has sparked concerns over the club’s security measures and guest policies.

According to police, club member Jaidev Panchatiya was allegedly assaulted by Yash Panchatiya, a non-member from the same family, within the club premises. The matter was reported to Sadar police station, where an investigation is underway.

Following the altercation, police registered a non-cognisable offence and initiated preventive actionagainst the accused.

This is not the first time CP Club has witnessed such an incident. A few years ago, a similar violent altercation involving a guest of a club member led to the suspension of the member’s membershippending inquiry. However, the case remained unresolved as the member passed away before a verdict could be reached.

With yet another violent episode unfolding at the club, questions are being raised over its guest policies and security enforcement. The club management has yet to release an official statement regarding the latest incident.
