Nagpur: A tragic road accident in the Pachpaoli area of Nagpur claimed the life of a 43-year-old woman and left her husband injured.

The incident occurred around 3:30 PM near Bikaner POP Sales shop on the road from Samarpan Hospital to Rani Durgavati Square. A goods vehicle (MH 05 BK 6960) was reportedly parked in a no-parking zone on the wrong side of the road.

The complainant, Tundilal Bholaram Sharanagat (53), was traveling with his wife on a Platina motorcycle when the vehicle stalled near the parked truck. As his wife walked behind him, another speeding goods vehicle (MH 40 CT 0098), driven by Bhaskar Brijlal Raut (42), rammed into her and dragged her into the parked vehicle.

The collision also injured the complainant, while his wife, Kesarbai Sharanagat (43), sustained severe injuries. She was rushed to Mayo Hospital, where doctors declared her dead.

Pachpaoli Police have registered a case against both vehicle drivers under sections related to rash and negligent driving and causing death by negligence. The आरोपी Bhaskar Raut has been arrested, and further investigation is ongoing.
