Nagpur: A 26-year-old construction worker died after falling from the third floor of an under-construction building at Gotala Paanjri in Beltarodi police jurisdiction on September 25, 2025.

Police said the deceased, Ashok Mantu Yadav of Medhamal Khapa, Umred (Chhindwara district), was working at the Aakar Park construction site around 11 am when he was struck by an iron pipe while removing safety nets. The impact caused him to lose balance and fall from the third floor.

Yadav sustained severe injuries and was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Following the medical report, Beltarodi Police registered a case of accidental death (AD) and have initiated further investigation.
