Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Friday welcomed RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's remarks supporting the right of young people to protest over genuine issues and urged him to convey the same message to the BJP leadership.

Dipke's comments came a day after Bhagwat, during an interaction with members of Gen Z and Gen Alpha at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai, said that young people have the right to protest over genuine concerns and should not be labelled as anti-national.

Speaking to ANI, Dipke said Bhagwat's statement that Gen Z protesters should not be called anti-national was the most significant takeaway from the interaction.

The most significant statement made by Mohan Bhagwat yesterday was that Gen Z should not be called anti-nationals. He stated that protesting is their right and their issues are genuine. I completely agree with this," Dipke said.

He further urged Bhagwat to communicate the same message to the BJP leadership and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"Since Mohan Bhagwat is, in a way, a mentor to the BJP and a godfather-like figure to Narendra Modi ji, I want him to convey this same message to the BJP leaders and Narendra Modi ji that they should stop labelling these students and the youth as anti-nationals," he said.

Bhagwat's remarks have sparked political discussion, with reactions emerging from various quarters on the issue of student protests and democratic expression. The BJP has not issued an official response to Dipke's statement.
