Burglary at Manish Nagar: Thieves Loot Cash, Gold As Family Attends Wedding in America

Nagpur: Unidentified burglars broke into a locked house in Manish Nagar during the owner’s absence and decamped with cash and jewellery worth Rs 1.62 lakh. The house belonged to Sanjay Champatrao Khoragde (58), who was in the US with his family for a wedding.
The burglary occurred between April 26 at 9:00 am and April 27 at 8:30 am, at Plot No. 83, Bharatiya Society. The accused broke the lock of the main door and looted Rs 50,000 in cash and gold ornaments stored in a bedroom cupboard.
Based on the complaint lodged on April 28, Assistant Police Inspector Padalkar registered a case under BNS Sections 305, 331(3), and 331(4) at Pratap Nagar Police Station. Investigations are ongoing.
