Nagpur: Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C) of Central Air Command, along with Mrs. Archana Dixit, President of the Air Force Families Welfare Association (Regional) (AFFWA), visited Air Force Station Sonegaon from October 9 to 11. The visit focused on evaluating the station's operational, maintenance, and administrative capabilities.
Upon their arrival, the Air Marshal and Mrs. Dixit were welcomed by the Station Commander of Air Force Station Sonegaon and the President of AFFWA (Local). During his visit, Air Marshal Dixit reviewed the station's preparedness by inspecting various activities and interacting with the Air Warriors stationed there.
Addressing the personnel, Air Marshal Dixit emphasized the importance of remaining dedicated to enhancing capabilities that contribute to nation-building efforts. He urged the Air Warriors to focus on strengthening their skills and maximizing their contribution to the Indian Air Force's goals.
The Air Marshal also stressed the significance of integrating the capabilities of the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force to achieve greater synergy in national defense operations. The visit underscored the Central Air Command's commitment to ensuring that the Air Force Station Sonegaon remains a vital asset in the nation's defense infrastructure.
