7-Year-Old Boy Drowns at Fun and Food Village Water Park Near Nagpur

Nagpur: A family picnic ended in tragedy when a seven-year-old boy accidentally drowned at the Fun and Food Village water park near Bazargaon on Wednesday, June 11. The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Kondhali Police Station along the Nagpur-Amravati National Highway.


The deceased child has been identified as Naitik Amit Deshmukh, a resident of Manish Nagar, Nagpur. He had visited the water park with his father Amit Prakash Deshmukh, uncle Swapnil Prakash Deshmukh, mother, aunt, and elder brother Monit.


According to preliminary information, Naitik slipped while playing in the water park and became unconscious after falling into the water. Realizing that he was unresponsive, his parents rushed him to a private hospital in Wadi. However, doctors declared him brought dead.


On Thursday, June 12, Swapnil Deshmukh filed a complaint at Kondhali Police Station. The police have registered a case of accidental death and initiated further investigation into the matter.
