Nagpur: In a shocking incident in Nagpur, a 24-year-old woman was allegedly molested and threatened with death after she stopped communicating with the accused. The incident occurred under the jurisdiction of Dhantoli Police Station on Thursday night around 8:35 pm.

Police have arrested the accused, identified as Rohit Vijay Solanki (24), following a complaint filed by the victim.

According to police sources, the victim, a resident of the Hudkeshwar Police Station area, was previously acquainted with the accused. However, she severed ties due to continuous harassment and had earlier filed a complaint regarding stalking and threats.

On the day of the incident, the woman was returning from work at an electrical shop in Wadi with her colleague when the accused, along with an accomplice, chased and intercepted them. The accused allegedly abused, assaulted, and molested the woman, outraging her modesty, and issued death threats.

A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
