Nagpur: Sitabuldi Police have registered a case of accidental death after a 60-year-old unidentified man passed away while undergoing treatment at Mayo Hospital.

On September 4, 2025, around 11.15 pm, the man, who had been staying at Aadhar Urban Homeless Shelter on Temple Bazar Road in Sitabuldi, reportedly fell critically ill. He was immediately shifted to Ward No. 9 of Mayo Hospital for medical treatment.

Despite efforts, doctors declared him dead around 5.45 am on September 5, 2025. Police registered an accidental death case based on medical advice. The case has been recorded by PSI Amol Gore, and further investigation is in progress to establish the man’s identity and cause of death.
