Nagpur: Ambazari Police have arrested two youths in connection with a house burglary and vehicle theft case and recovered stolen property worth ₹1.42 lakh.

The burglary occurred between February 19 and February 28 at a flat in Lakshmanrekha Apartment, Gandhinagar, Ambazari. The complainant, Shobhanaray Aditya (62), had locked his house and gone out when unidentified thieves broke the door lock and entered the residence.

The accused allegedly stole ₹10,500 in cash, a mobile phone, earphones, gold ornaments, and other items, valued at around ₹36,000.

During investigation, police arrested Vaibhav Sanjay Wanare (19) and Rohit Chandrabhan Banamare (19), residents of Sanjay Nagar near LIT Campus.

Police recovered mobile phones, a smartwatch, and two stolen vehicles including a motorcycle and an Activa scooter, with the total value estimated at ₹1.42 lakh. The accused are also suspected to be involved in three different crimes.
