Attempt to Grab Land Worth Crores in Nagpur: Case Registered Against Three Including Politicians’ Sons

Nagpur: An alleged attempt to illegally grab land worth crores of rupees by constructing an unauthorized structure has come to light in Nagpur. The incident has led to a dispute between two parties, following which MIDC Police have registered a case against three individuals, including the sons of a political leader.


According to police sources, a man had reportedly tried to take possession of the land by fraudulently claiming ownership and initiating construction of an illegal building on the plot. When the matter came to light, a dispute broke out between the two sides over the ownership of the land.


Based on a complaint filed by the affected party, the MIDC Police registered an offence against three accused. The accused allegedly attempted to grab the land using fabricated claims and by starting construction activities on the disputed property.


The situation escalated when the complainant, accompanied by nearly 50 supporters, reached the MIDC Police Station and demanded action against those involved in the alleged land grab attempt. They alleged that the accused were trying to occupy the property illegally and sought strict legal action.


Police officials said that an investigation has been initiated to verify the ownership documents and the circumstances under which the construction work was started. Authorities are also examining the role of all individuals named in the complaint.


The case has triggered fresh debate over illegal land grabbing and disputes involving high-value properties in Nagpur.
