Two Senior Executives Booked for ₹74.70 Lakh Fraud at Automotive Firm in Nagpur

Nagpur: Two senior executives of an automotive accessories company have been booked for allegedly defrauding their employer of ₹74.70 lakh by diverting customer payments into personal accounts.


The complaint was filed by Rajesh Mrityunjay Mishra (57), president of Automotive Manufacturers Pvt. Ltd., located at Automotive Chowk under the jurisdiction of Yashodhara Nagar Police Station.


The accused — Sushil Rameshrao Bhole (40), resident of Hudkeshwar Road, and Chetan Damodhar Tarare, resident of Kamthi Road — were working as senior executive officers in the company. Between April 1, 2024 and July 7, 2025, they allegedly conspired to issue fake invoices to customers and diverted online payments into their personal bank accounts.


Police said the duo also granted 100% discounts to select customers for personal gain, causing a total financial loss of ₹74,70,984 to the company.


Based on the complaint and preliminary inquiry, a case has been registered under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at Yashodhara Nagar Police Station. Further investigation is in progress.
