Nagpur:The Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) will host the Nagpur Aqua Fest 2024, a three-day water tourism festival, from October 12 to 14 at Futala Lake. The event will be inaugurated by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday, October 12, at 11 AM, as announced by MTDC's Senior Regional Manager, Dinesh Kamble.
During a press conference at Futala Lake, Kamble highlighted the event's significance, organized under the guidance of Tourism Minister Girish Mahajan, Principal Secretary of Tourism Jayshree Bhoj, and MTDC Managing Director Manojkumar Suryavanshi. The Nagpur Aqua Fest 2024 aims to boost Maharashtra's water tourism sector while providing thrilling experiences in various water sports.
The festival will feature activities like boat safaris, jet ski rides, sailing, kayaking, flying fish rides, banana rides, bumper rides, water zorbing, electric shikaras, and scuba diving. MTDC's goal is to position Maharashtra as a leader in water tourism while promoting awareness about water conservation, safety, and the adventure tourism sector.
Affordable Water Sports for Rs 20 to 50:
Ticket prices for water sports activities range from Rs 20 to Rs 50. The event will run from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 3 PM to 6 PM each day. MTDC has urged Nagpurians to make the most of this exciting water tourism opportunity.
