Nagpur: A theft occurred at the Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance office located on the sixth floor of the Big Bazaar building in Ramdaspeth, within the Sitabuldi police station jurisdiction. The complainant, Bhupendra Sheshrao Sonkusare (34), a resident of Shivshakti Apartment, Bhagwan Nagar, Ajni, Nagpur, reported that Rs 19,500 was stolen from his office bag on August 8, 2024. 

Sonkusare discovered the theft after reviewing CCTV footage from the office. The footage, recorded around 1:15 PM on August 8, 2024, showed two of his co-workers committing the theft. The accused were identified as Santosh Sambhaji Bhalavi (32), a resident of Takiya, Dhantoli, Nagpur, and Mukesh Suresh Soni (34), a resident of Narsala, Hudkeshwar, Nagpur.

Based on Sonkusare’s complaint filed on August 17, 2024, Sub-Inspector Mamatabade of the Sitabuldi Police Station registered a case against the accused under sections 305(A) and 3(5) of the Indian Penal Code. Both accused have been arrested, and further investigation is underway.
