Nagpur: A snake was spotted at Subhash Nagar Metro Station on Friday, prompting swift action from a local snake rescuer.
Upon receiving the alert, Sarpamitra Meshram rushed to the scene and successfully rescued the snake from the station's lift. This incident is one of many reported in the city during the monsoon season, which often drives snakes to seek shelter in urban areas.
The Nagpur Administration has proactively shared contact numbers of Sarpamitras with locals to ensure quick responses to such incidents. The efforts of these snake rescuers have been crucial in maintaining public safety during this period.
