Nagpur: In a preventive action to maintain public safety, the Tehsil Police Station has externed a habitual offender from Nagpur city and rural areas for one year.

The accused, Mohammad Ajnan alias Anna (20), a resident of Mominpura, has multiple cases registered against him, including assault, use of abusive language, violent attacks, attempted murder with weapons, and causing grievous injuries.

Police officials stated that his repeated criminal activities had created fear among residents. Acting under Section 56(1)(A)(B) of the Maharashtra Police Act, the externment order was issued by Deputy Commissioner of Police Rahul Madne.

The action was carried out under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner of Police Anita More along with the Tehsil police team.
