Nagpur Holiday Package Fraud: Hospitality Firm Accused of Duping Customers of ₹29.31 Lakh

Nagpur: The Rana Pratap Nagar Police have registered a case against Kritters hospitality company and several individuals for allegedly cheating customers of a total of ₹29.31 lakh by promising holiday tour packages.


According to the complaint, the accused were involved in the business of selling holiday tour packages. They allegedly lured customers by promising attractive holiday tours and collected money from them towards bookings. However, the complainant and other customers were allegedly cheated after paying a combined ₹29,31,450.


The case was registered at Rana Pratap Nagar Police Station under Sections 316(2), 318(4) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), based on applications submitted by the complainant and other affected persons.


The complaint names several individuals allegedly associated with the operation, including Shreya Walewar, Pooja, Sajna, Vaishnavi, Sachin, Shubham Chate, Dimple, Shahnawaz Khan, Yogeshwari, Rahul Shantanu, Nikita Lamse, Rahul Patil, Manoj, Arjun and Raj Patil, along with Kritters Hospitality Company and its other staff members.


The complainant, identified as Bhushan Chandrakant Uke, 42, is reportedly engaged in trading. Police are investigating the allegations and the role of the company and the named individuals in the alleged holiday package fraud.


The complaint states that customers were induced to make payments on the assurance that they would be taken on tours under the holiday package scheme, resulting in the alleged financial loss of ₹29.31 lakh.


Police have registered the case and further investigation is underway.
