Nagpur: Burglary Reported in Yashodharanagar, Cash and Gold Stolen as Family Attends Wedding

Nagpur: A burglary was reported in Bapuji Ane Nagar under Yashodharanagar Police Station limits, where unidentified thieves decamped with cash and gold ornaments worth over ₹1 lakh.
According to the complaint by Hemraj Maroti Telrandhe (38), the theft occurred between 7 pm on June 12 and 7.30 am on June 13 when he and his family had locked their home (Plot No. 37) to attend a wedding ceremony.
During this period, the accused broke open the main door lock and gained entry into the house. They opened the bedroom cupboard and stole ₹12,000 in cash and gold jewellery, amounting to a total loss of ₹1,03,000.
Based on Telrandhe’s complaint, Yashodharanagar police have registered a case under Section 305(a) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
