Nagpur: A major burglary was reported under the jurisdiction of Hingna Police Station, where unknown miscreants targeted a locked house in Sandesh City, Jamtha, and made away with valuables worth ₹8.92 lakh.
The incident occurred between 5:00 am on June 20 and 8:00 am on June 22, when complainant Trinad Kotmaraju Sarikonda (28) and his family had gone out of town, leaving their home locked. The thief reportedly broke open the rear iron grill and entered through the kitchen window. Items stolen from the house included multiple gold ornaments, a diamond-studded necklace, and a wristwatch.
Based on the complaint, a case has been registered at Hingna Police Station under Sections 305(A), 331(3), and 331(4) of the BNS. Cops are conducting the investigation, and efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the suspect.
