Nagpur: Following the Supreme Court’s directive to conduct municipal elections within four months on Tuesday, May 6, Nagpur BJP President Jitendra alias Bunty Kukde stated that the party is fully prepared to face the upcoming polls and is confident of regaining control over the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC).
Kukde emphasized that the BJP has always stood by its workers and the citizens, and is consistently ready to address public issues and electoral challenges. He expressed optimism that, under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, and State BJP President Chandrashekhar Bawankule, the party would replicate its past electoral success in the upcoming civic elections.
He further added that all MLAs, former corporators, and members of the BJP’s organizational structure—from booth-level workers to the city executive—will join forces with the public under the guidance of working president Ravindra Chauhan to ensure a resounding victory. Kukde expressed confidence that the BJP’s saffron flag will once again fly high atop the NMC.
He also congratulated all citizens and party members following the Supreme Court’s decision.
