Nagpur: Hemant Ramesh Bhattad (37), a medical representative (MR) working for a pharmaceutical company, ended his life by hanging himself at Sunstar Hotel, Modi Number 4, under Sitabuldi Police Station. Bhattad was a resident of Somalwada.

On July 5, the company had organized a workshop for its MRs at Sunstar Hotel. Bhattad attended the workshop but left for his room at 4 PM, saying he was not feeling well. He subsequently committed suicide by hanging himself in his room. A hotel employee discovered him and informed the manager, who then contacted the Sitabuldi Police. The police notified Bhattad's family about the incident.

There is speculation that Bhattad may have committed suicide due to financial losses.
