Nagpur: In a shocking incident that unfolded in the Pachpaoli area on Sunday night, April 20, a man was brutally murdered after confronting his wife’s alleged lover and asking him to end the relationship.

The deceased has been identified as Shera Suryaprakash Malik. Police have apprehended the main accused, Gitesh alias Rajat Kamlesh Ukey, along with his accomplice Bhojraaj Moreshwar Kumbhare, on charges of murder.

According to police sources, Ukey, a known history-sheeter, was allegedly involved in an illicit relationship with Malik’s wife. The two had previous altercations over the same issue. On Sunday around 10 pm, Ukey reportedly approached Malik and, following a heated argument, attacked him with a sharp-edged weapon, leaving him in a pool of blood.

Malik’s elder brother rushed him to a hospital in a critical condition. However, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment at around 2 am on Monday, April 21.

Based on the complaint lodged by Malik’s brother, Pachpaoli Police have arrested both accused. Further investigation is underway.
