Nagpur: Kalamna Police have arrested a 30-year-old man for allegedly molesting a female petrol pump attendant at a station under their jurisdiction on Sunday, May 4.

The accused, Sonu alias Khalla Ganesh Sahare, a resident of Deshpande Layout, Nandanvan, was reportedly harassing the 22-year-old woman for several days.

The woman, a resident of Pardi area, stated that Sahare would frequently visit the pump under the pretext of filling fuel, engage in vulgar conversations, and demand her phone number. When she objected, he allegedly abused her and issued death threats. The accused also reportedly abused and threatened the staff and manager when they tried to intervene.

Based on her complaint, Kalamna Police registered an FIR under BNS Sections 296, 351(3), 75, 78, and 79. Sub-Inspector Mane is leading the investigation.
