Jharkhand Man Dies After Being Hit by Train in Beltarodi

Nagpur: A 52-year-old man from Jharkhand was killed in a railway accident at Vaishali Nagar, Beltarodi, on Monday evening.
At around 6:20 pm on October 14, Beltarodi Police received a control room alert about an injured person lying near the new railway track No. 2 along Wardha Road. Police rushed to the spot and found the man grievously injured.
The deceased was identified as Kartik Chandu Nageshiya (52), a resident of Mandarpani, Post Palkoni, under Jenga Police Station, Jharkhand. He was rushed to Government Medical Hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
An accidental death has been registered at Beltarodi Police Station. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances leading to the incident.
