Nagpur: Gittikhadan Police successfully recovered and returned 40 mobile phones to their rightful owners under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 2) Rahul Madane and Assistant Commissioner of Police (Sadar Division) Sunita Meshram here, on Wednesday, September 25.
The recovery operation was led by Senior Police Inspector Kailash Deshmane, PI Crime Jitendra Bobde, and police personnel including Gaibi Nagare, Kamlesh Shahu, and Vikram Thakur from the office of DCP Zone 2.
The recovered mobile phones were tracked from various locations, including West Bengal, Nagpur, Haryana, Wardha, and Kolkata. The combined value of the phones is estimated at ₹7.6 lakh.
