Nagpur: A 77-year-old woman succumbed to head injuries sustained in a fall from a motorcycle while returning home on September 10.

Police said Parvatabai Mohanrao Dongre of Sakore Complex was riding pillion with her grandson Siddharth Dongre (36) when she accidentally fell between Kharbi Square and Ramna Maroti Road. She was rushed to Government Medical College & Hospital’s trauma centre, where she was under treatment.

Doctors declared her dead around 5:15 am on September 14. Nandanvan police have recorded an accidental death report following medical advice, and further investigation is in progress.
