20-Year-Old Nabbed for Bike Stunt Riding, Rash Driving in Wathoda; Handed Over to Traffic Police

Nagpur:: A 20-year-old youth was apprehended by Unit 5 of Crime Branch during routine patrolling under the jurisdiction of Wathoda Police Station on Wednesday for allegedly performing dangerous stunts and indulging in rash driving on a public road.


According to officials, the incident came to light when police personnel on patrol spotted a motorcyclist riding recklessly and performing stunts, posing a serious threat to pedestrians and other motorists. The police chased and intercepted the rider, taking him into custody on the spot.


The accused has been identified as Suraj Singh Vikram Singh (20), a resident of Lal Godown area in Jaripatka. Following his detention, he was handed over to traffic officials stationed at the naka-bandi point near Swaminarayan Temple, under Pardi Traffic division, for further legal action.


Police stated that strict action is being initiated against individuals engaging in stunt riding and rash driving, especially in residential and high-traffic zones, to ensure road safety and prevent accidents. Further investigation and legal proceedings are underway.
