Nagpur: An unidentified elderly man, believed to be around 60–65 years old, was found unconscious near Auto Connect Garage, opposite Boston Café on Hingna Road, under MIDC Police Station limits, on Tuesday around 7.25 pm.

Locals alerted authorities and the man was immediately shifted to AIIMS Hospital for treatment. However, doctors declared him dead upon examination.

On the basis of information given by Vishwav Paras Mehta (31), a resident of New Colony, Sadar, MIDC Police have registered an accidental death entry (ADR). Police are conducting further investigation to ascertain the man’s identity and cause of death.
