Two Found Dead Amid Shivering Cold in Nagpur’s Tehsil and Imamwada Areas

Nagpur: Two unidentified men were found dead under mysterious circumstances in separate incidents in the Tehsil and Imamwada areas on Monday, raising concerns over the harsh winter conditions.


In the first incident, a man, approximately 50 years old, was discovered unconscious near the roadside in front of Gupta Developers, Hansapuri, under Tehsil Police Station limits around 12:15 PM. He was rushed to Mayo Hospital for treatment but was declared dead upon arrival. 


Acting on a report filed by Raju Suresh Rathod (33), a resident of Hansapuri, police have registered a case of accidental death. Further investigations are underway.


In the second incident, an unidentified man, aged between 60 and 65 years, was found unconscious near Saraswati Shishu Mandir in the Rajabaksha area under Imamwada Police Station limits at approximately 4:15 PM. 


The individual was taken to Government Medical College & Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. Based on medical advice, Imamwada Police have registered a case of accidental death. Head Constable Bhogade is leading the investigation in this case.


The cause of death in both cases remains under investigation. The incidents coincide with Nagpur experiencing unusually cold weather, prompting authorities to issue advisories for the homeless and vulnerable individuals to seek shelter and protection against the freezing temperatures.
