Thieves Steal Cash, Ornaments from Doctor’s House in Nagpur as Family Attends Housewarming

Nagpur: A burglary case has been registered at Kalamna Police Station after thieves broke into a doctor’s house and decamped with valuables worth ₹1.26 lakh in a broad-day light.
The incident took place between 2 pm and 6 pm on Wednesday, May 28 at Plot No. 21/A, Tukaram Nagar, Old Kamptee Road, when the complainant Dr. Jitesh Shriram Atram (39) was on duty and his family was away attending a housewarming ceremony.
The suspects broke the kitchen door lock to gain entry and stole ₹60,000 in cash along with gold and silver ornaments from the bedroom.
Based on Dr. Atram’s complaint, an FIR has been registered under BNS Sections 305(a) and 331(3). Kalamna Police are leading the investigation.
