Anti-Drug Awareness Rally Held in Kamptee Under ‘Operation Thunder’; Nagpur Guardian Minister, CP Attend

Nagpur: As part of the ongoing anti-narcotics drive ‘Operation Thunder’ initiated by Nagpur City Police, a large-scale anti-drug awareness rally was organized on Saturday, July 21 in New Kamptee and Old Kamptee under Zone 5.


The event witnessed the presence of Guardian Minister of Nagpur District Chandrashekar Bawankule and Commissioner of Police, Ravinder Kumar Singal who attended as chief guests. The rally saw enthusiastic participation from Zone 5 Deputy Commissioner of Police, representatives of various religious communities, social organizations, and over 800 to 1,000 citizens from Kamptee and surrounding areas.


During his address, the Guardian Minister praised the Nagpur Police’s proactive efforts under ‘Operation Thunder’ and commended their commitment to eradicating drug abuse. He urged every resident of Kamptee to come together and actively participate in the mission against drugs.


The rally aimed to deliver a strong message about drug-free living and community solidarity against narcotics, drawing widespread support from the public. Nagpur Police officials expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response and reiterated their dedication to building a drug-free society through consistent action and public involvement.
