Nagpur: In a significant spiritual event, thousands of liters of sacred water from the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj were brought to Nagpur for devotees who could not travel to the Maha Kumbh. The ‘Maha Kumbh Prayag Yoga and Sangam Jal Abhishek’ event took place on February 15 and 16 at Reshimbagh Ground, creating a divine atmosphere with religious rituals, cultural programs, and spiritual discourses.

On Saturday, February 15, Maharashtra’s Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar attended the event and participated in the Maha Aarti at 1 PM. The evening was further enriched by a devotional concert, ‘Sangit Sandhya’, featuring renowned singer Kailash Kher from 6:30 PM onwards.

The event, organized by the Valuable Group, aimed to offer a unique spiritual experience with satsangs, kirtans, bhajans, and Shiva-Shakti Yagya. Advanced technology was used to shower the sacred Sangam waters upon attendees, ensuring a profound connection to the ongoing Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj.

The event commenced on Saturday morning with the ‘Shri Guru Paduka Darshan and Sangam Jal Abhishek Ceremony’. A grand chariot procession carrying sacred Padukas began at 8 AM from Gajanan Maharaj Temple Chowk to Reshimbagh Ground. From 9 AM to 9 PM, the holy water was showered upon devotees as spiritual programs continued in the background. Notably, spiritual leader Sri M, founder of the Satsang Foundation, blessed the attendees.

Prominent spiritual leaders from Maharashtra conducted various rituals, including Sant Paduka Abhishek and Jalakumbh Abhishek. Organizers Narendra Hete, Ameya Hete, and Manjiri Heteurged devotees to attend in large numbers to witness and participate in this sacred event.

The grand celebration provided Nagpurians with a rare opportunity to experience the Maha Kumbh’s spiritual essence, reaffirming faith and devotion among thousands of attendees.
