Nagpur: City’s long-pending demand for a Vande Bharat Express connecting the city to Pune is finally set to be fulfilled. The new Ajni–Pune Vande Bharat Express will be officially flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, August 10, during his visit to Karnataka.
As part of his schedule, PM Modi will inaugurate three new Vande Bharat trains from Bengaluru — including the Ajni–Pune route, the Bengaluru–Belagavi route, and the Amritsar–Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra route.
The high-speed Vande Bharat service between Ajni and Pune is expected to significantly boost rail connectivity between the Vidarbha and western Maharashtra regions, reducing travel time and offering modern amenities to passengers.
Further details regarding the timetable, stoppages, and ticket booking for the Ajni–Pune Vande Bharat Express are expected to be released soon by Indian Railways.
