Nagpur: In a significant administrative move, Tehsil Police Station in-charge, PI Sanjay Singh, has been transferred and replaced by Crime Branch officer Shubhangi Deshmukh. The transfer follows growing demands from local representatives and Hansapuri residents in the wake of the March 17 violence.

However, Singh will continue at Tehsil Police Station for the time being due to ongoing law and order concerns in the area. Meanwhile, residents have also voiced dissatisfaction with senior Zone 3 officials, accusing them of failing to engage with the public, which they claim has worsened tensions.

Authorities are closely monitoring the situation to ensure stability in the region.
