Nagpur: House Break-in in Mankapur, Thieves Steal ₹4.88 Lakh Valuables As Owner Visits Ajmer

Nagpur: A case of house burglary was registered at Mankapur Police Station after thieves targeted a locked house at Shiv Nagar Co-operative Society while the residents were away on a family trip to Ajmer.
According to police, the complainant Atiq Alam (45), resident of Plot No. G/62, Shiv Nagar, Mankapur, had locked his house and travelled to Ajmer with family. Between June 20, 3:30 am and June 25, 5:00 pm, unknown burglars broke the front door lock, entered the bedroom, and stole ₹1 lakh cash along with gold and silver ornaments worth ₹3.88 lakh — totaling approximately ₹4.88 lakh in losses.
A case has been registered under Sections 305(A), 331(3), and 331(4) of the BNS against unidentified suspects. Further investigation is on.
