McDonald’s Drive-Thru Legacy in India:

McDonald’s introduced its first drive-thru restaurant in India in 2001 at Kalamboli, Navi Mumbai. Since then, the brand has been steadily expanding its drive-thru presence across the country. According to a recent press release, McDonald’s plans to have 30-35% of its new stores built as drive-thrus over the next 3-4 years, targeting city suburbs and national highways.

Hardcastle Restaurants: Driving McDonald’s Growth in India

Hardcastle Restaurants, a subsidiary of Westlife Foodworld Ltd., manages McDonald’s operations across West and South India under a master franchise agreement with McDonald’s Corporation USA. The company has been a key driver of the brand since 1996, offering various formats like standalone restaurants, 24/7 outlets, McDelivery, McBreakfast, and dessert kiosks.

Customer Experience and Expansion Plans:

The new drive-thru in Nagpur aligns with McDonald’s commitment to offering convenient dining solutions for urban and highway customers.
