Nagpur: Hudkeshwar Police have registered a case against a 37-year-old man after a 36-year-old woman allegedly accused him of repeatedly following her, including to a bank in the Manewada area of Nagpur.

According to the complaint, the woman and the accused, identified as Jitendra, knew each other and had been in a relationship in the past. Their relationship reportedly ended after the woman got married to another person.

The latest incident allegedly occurred on August 6 between 1.30 pm and 3 pm at AU Small Finance Bank in the Manewada area. The woman had gone to the bank to withdraw money when the accused allegedly followed her to the bank, causing her to feel frightened.

The woman further alleged that the accused had followed her on earlier occasions as well.

Based on her complaint, Hudkeshwar Police registered a case under Section 78 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Police are conducting further investigation into the allegations.
