Nagpur: Gittikhadan police have registered a theft case after gold ornaments worth ₹3.57 lakh were stolen from a locked house in Barsa Society, Gorewada, Nagpur.

According to complainant Ruby Mukesh Jha (28), her home in Sunshine Apartment, Plot No. 467, was undergoing furniture work, and she had briefly stepped out to a neighbouring house. On August 1, around 11 am, she had kept the jewellery in a cupboard. When she checked again on August 4 around 3:30 pm, the ornaments were missing.

A case has been registered against an unknown person under Section 305(a) of the BNS. PSI Deshmukh is investigating the case.
